Why did I choose the name grave robber? Well I love bringing rad shit back from the dead but also Because I realize this market has some greedy vultures in it and the next stage is grave robbing. I assure you, I'm not like them.

 

In fact the reason I started GRave robber is four fold. First, Having a second hand store with everything from refinished furniture to sports memorabilia to band t-shirts was a dream my father and i had. He passed a while back but when I do this I feel him with me. Also I like the dead better than the living so estate sales are my jam.

The second reason is i i have cptsd and anxiety disorder which turned into agoraphobia post covid and a car accident. I use sourcing materials as excursion therapy and I'm stoked to say I'm doing better. So, I guess I'm bringing myself back from the dead too. Also the high from snagging something from my childhood or making a sale I'm sure compliments my psych meds.

third is The planet. i assure you this is the hottest it has ever been in Florida and I am ready to GTFOH. but if we keep destroying the planet there won't be anywhere for me to go. Thrifting and upcycling makes mother earth think you're less of an asshole. i promise, she told me.

And lastly, I want to help people find rad shit at affordable prices. The last four years I've struggled immensely with my finances and I know I'm not the only one. If you think something is too high - make me an offer I can't refuse. I'm trying to make a living, not a killing.
